Robinsons left first thing this morning. They are now in Bath in a hotel overlooking the Pulteney Bridge

For us, it was a day of rest. Our main activity for the day was walking about a mile each way to the nearest actual supermarket to get some necessities into this flat. In this area the main supermarket chains are Tesco, Sainsbury, and Marks & Spencer. Each of these chains have locals (Tesco Local, Sainsbury Local) scattered through the area. These are good for quick trips but don’t have everything you need. The nearest local to us is Marks & Spencer and that has even less than the other locals because they seem to mainly sell prepared foods. So today, I put on my backpack and Nancy grabbed a fabric travelling bag and collapsible carry-on luggage and we walked to Sainsburys and back. All cold food survived the trip. I noticed a bus pass us on the way so now we know we can hop on the 206 in the future.

Other than washing several loads in our tiny washer that’s about it for the day except my walk to the park.
We’ve been in the Queens Park neighborhood for nearly a week but have never seen the park. I took the 10 minute walk today. It’s a nice park, good for reading on shaded benches. Emily and Nathan missed it but Cora and Grant will love the huge playground with swimming pool and giant sand pit.
Tomorrow is the highlight of the trip for Nancy – a trip to Downton Abbey.
That pool is gigantic. They will love it.
